Privacy Policy
Last updated October 29, 2026
This page explains what data Faymas (faymas.io) collects, what it never sees, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect very little, we don't sell data, and your personal photos never come to us at all.
The most important point first
Faymas is a prompt library. When you use a prompt, you upload your photo inside ChatGPT, Gemini, or another AI app — not on Faymas. Those photos travel directly between you and that app. Faymas does not receive them, does not store them, and cannot see them. What that app does with your photo is covered by its own privacy policy, not ours.
What we do collect
Account basics. If you register on Faymas, we store the basics needed for your account, such as your name and email address, and a securely hashed password.
Submissions. If you submit a prompt, we store the prompt text, the example photo you send with it, and your submission details, so we can review and publish it.
Activity counts. We keep simple counts that make the site work — likes, copies, and views on prompt pages. These help us show popular prompts and decide which styles to add.
Basic analytics and technical data. Like most websites, we may record standard technical information such as your browser type, device, general location (country level), and pages visited. This helps us understand which categories people use and keep the site fast and secure.
Cookies
Faymas uses cookies for basic functions: keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and measuring site usage in aggregate. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the prompt library will still work, though some account features may not.
How we use your data
We use the data above to run the site, review and publish submissions, show counts and rankings, respond to messages you send us, prevent abuse, and improve Faymas. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, and we don't use it for unrelated advertising profiles.
Third-party services
Faymas links to and works alongside third-party AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini. Once you open one of those apps, their own privacy policies apply to anything you do there — including the photos you upload. We recommend reading the policy of any AI tool you use with your personal photos.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the account data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and associated data entirely. Send your request through the Faymas website and we will act on it within a reasonable time. Deleting your account also removes your unpublished submissions; prompts already published may be kept in anonymised form unless you ask for them to be removed too.
Data security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect the data we hold, including hashed passwords and access controls. We keep account data while your account is active and delete or anonymise it when it's no longer needed, or when you ask us to.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page. Significant changes will be visible here before they take effect, so check back if privacy matters to you — it does to us.
